At McPherson, our Employment & Immigration practice aims to navigate our clients through the nuances of applicable labour laws in Nigeria, and ensure they do not contravene them. To this end, we advise employers through the process of negotiating employment terms and conditions and where necessary, termination procedures and employee claims and liabilities.

We are able to represent our clients’ management in trade union contract negotiations and organising efforts. For our international clients, we render advice with respect to their labour and immigration requirements and assist in the procurement of entry permits, expatriate quotas and work visas, etc. to enable foreign nationals work in Nigeria.
 
Our work in drafting or reviewing employment contracts helps our clients avoid potential employee-related minefields, save costs and prevent distractions from business operations.
